Going into the Cloud ...
We have worked with small and medium sized companies in Kent for more than ten years to ensure that they have reliable, cost effective computer services. In that period they have had to adapt to a succession of changes in the hardware and software they use.
One of the most significant recent change has been the acceptance of cloud computing. You may already have begun to look at cloud computing. You will almost certainly have to start considering it this year. It is likely that you will find its advantages so compelling that you will want to start to plan the changes you will need to make.
The only safe way to make the move from your existing systems to cloud computing is to plan a process of change that you will probably want to spread over at least a couple of years.
You will need people who are familiar with the new technology and with whom you can develop a plan for the change process. You may face the problem that your existing IT team will not feel confident with the process. We would be happy to work with them, teaching the new skills and providing support when needed. We would also want to work with senior management. The issues involved for your company are serious enough to warrant a large input from senior management and we have staff who are experienced in working at this level.
We have gone to some lengths not to refer to ourselves as "Consultants" for two reasons. The first is that consultants sound expensive and often are. The second is that consultants do not get hands-on nor take responsibility for what they recommend. Many of our clients have been with us for years. They remain with us because we are effective at providing what they need.
